Can tapioca starch be used as a tablet disintegrant?
Yes. Native tapioca starch swells on contact with fluid and is widely used as a disintegrant, while pregelatinized grades are more often selected as binders in direct compression.
How is batch consistency guaranteed?
Each batch is tested in our own laboratory for moisture, whiteness, pH, fineness, ash, SO2 and viscosity and released only when the results sit inside the agreed specification band.
