Laboratory technician testing tapioca starch viscosity with Brabender quality control equipment in a clean modern lab

Manufacturing & quality

Controlled at every stage, documented for every shipment

A closed stainless steel process, an in-house laboratory and written release criteria at each stage — so what leaves the plant matches what was specified.

Production process

From cassava root to loaded container

Six stages, each with its own release criteria. A batch only advances when it meets them.

  1. Farmer holding freshly harvested cassava roots over rich soil in a green field, showing natural raw material selection
    01

    Cassava sourcing & intake

Roots are bought from audited growing regions and graded on starch content, freshness and foreign matter before they are accepted at the weighbridge.

  2. Stainless steel tapioca starch processing line with washing and extraction equipment
    02

    Washing & extraction

Multi-stage washing, rasping and centrifugal extraction on a closed stainless steel line, with process water recovered and reused where possible.

  3. Industrial drum dryers producing pregelatinized tapioca starch powder
    03

    Gelatinisation & drying

Drum and flash drying set to the target degree of gelatinisation, then milling and sieving to the specified particle size distribution.

  4. Quality control laboratory testing tapioca starch samples for viscosity and purity
    04

    Laboratory release

Every batch is tested for viscosity, moisture, pH, whiteness, ash and microbiology, and is released only against its written specification.

  5. Automated packaging line filling tapioca starch into multi-wall sacks
    05

    Packaging

Automated filling into 25kg multi-wall sacks or 500/1000kg jumbo bags, metal detected and labelled with a traceable batch code.

  6. Export logistics container loading for tapioca starch shipment
    06

    Loading & export

Containers are loaded under supervision with full export documentation, certificate of analysis and batch traceability for every pallet.

Quality control

What we measure, on every batch

Testing is done in our own laboratory rather than outsourced, so a deviation is caught while the batch is still in the plant.

Quality control parameters
ViscosityBrookfield measurement against the grade's control band
MoistureLoss on drying, checked in process and at release
WhitenessDigital Whiteness Meter
Ash Purity indicators for food and pharma grades
MicrobiologyAs per international standards required by the customer

Certifications

Independently audited standards

ISO

Quality management across sourcing, production and release.
